Job summary

Talentmark is recruiting a Senior Process & Production Engineer for a chemical manufacturing site in Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on establishing the Engineering Department and leading a small team while driving digitalisation across production and warehousing.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree (chemical preferred), strong chemical knowledge, and proven leadership within a production environment, including ATEX procedures. UK work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, ideal Chemical Engineering background.
• Strong chemical knowledge relevant to production environments.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Previous team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of ATEX procedures and safety practices.
• Willingness to be based within 25 miles of Stoke-on-Trent.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop the Engineering Department.
• Lead and supervise a team of 3–4 engineers.
• Drive the digitalisation of production and warehousing.
• Analyse and improve existing production processes.
• Support the introduction and scale-up of new products with R&D.
• Implement new technologies and engineer solutions to plant challenges.
