Job summary

OxTS RD in the United Kingdom is seeking a Process Engineering Team Leader to coordinate the Process Engineering team and provide hands-on engineering support to Operations. You will oversee production and test processes, including calibration, and support the introduction of new products into Production.

Key responsibilities include leading the team, defining project resources, and maintaining the engineering roadmap while collaborating with Quality, Purchasing and Engineering to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical team in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate resources.
• Hands-on engineering capability with calibration and test processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track work through the Process Engineering Team, prioritising and assigning tasks to ensure timely delivery and up-to-date status with stakeholders.
• Define, scope and coordinate resources for projects and improvement activities within the Process Engineering Team.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and 1:1 coaching, development discussions and mentoring.
• Offer hands-on technical leadership to Operations, resolving production, build and test issues.
• Maintain ownership of production/test processes, including calibration, with clear responsibilities.
• Maintain the Process Engineering roadmap and report project status, priorities and risks to stakeholders.
• Assist in managing the Process Engineering budget and equipment maintenance.
• Develop and improve test equipment capability to meet growth and mix requirements.
• Lead investigations into quality issues affecting production and supplier performance.
