About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Process Engineer to spearhead process development and optimization initiatives within their specialty chemicals division in Randburg . This senior role involves leading a team of engineers and technicians, driving innovation in process design, scale-up, and troubleshooting for complex chemical products. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and economic viability of production processes, working closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and proven leadership capabilities, committed to advancing the company's capabilities in the competitive specialty chemicals market, ensuring robust and scalable manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Proficiency with process simulation tools and statistical analysis software.
Strong knowledge of safety protocols and environmental compliance in the chemical industry.
