Job summary

Millbank Holdings is seeking a Senior Chemical Process Engineer to lead the detailed design of a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will work in a multidisciplinary team delivering process systems and utilities for a cutting-edge life sciences project.

The role requires experience in API production facilities, FEED and detailed design, and delivering process engineering documentation within regulated environments. Hybrid office-based arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience working within API manufacturing facilities or pharmaceutical process plant environments.
• Strong background supporting projects through FEED and detailed design phases.
• Proven knowledge of chemical process engineering principles within regulated manufacturing sectors.
• Experience producing and reviewing process engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, utility calculations and process design documentation.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and attend a hybrid office-based working arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review process engineering documentation, including P&IDs, for a large-scale pharmaceutical facility.
• Support the design and integration of process systems associated with API production, including synthesis and purification operations.
• Perform process calculations and engineering assessments for utilities, process equipment and supporting infrastructure.
• Contribute to process safety activities, including the design and evaluation of pressure relief, venting and safeguarding systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver FEED and detailed design activities in line with project requirements.

Are you an experienced Chemical Process Engineer looking to play a key role in the design of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility? Do you have proven experience working on API manufacturing projects or pharmaceutical process plants? Have you supported projects through both FEED and detailed design phases, delivering process engineering solutions from concept to implementation?

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of complex process systems and associated utilities for a cutting-edge life sciences project.
