Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Lead Process Engineer to drive process development and optimization in specialty chemicals. You will lead a team, oversee scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial scale, and implement improvements to boost yield and cut costs.

The role requires advanced degrees in chemical engineering with 8+ years of experience, including 3+ in leadership, plus strong safety and environmental compliance knowledge. Leadership and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
8+ years of chemical process engineering experience, with 3+ in leadership.
Experience in scale-up, design, and troubleshooting of complex chemical processes.
Strong knowledge of safety and environmental compliance in chemical industry.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of process engineers and technicians.
Oversee the scale-up of new chemical processes from laboratory to pilot and commercial scale.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Conduct PHAs and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with R&D to translate new chemical discoveries into viable manufacturing processes.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for process engineering initiatives.
