Placements24 is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes at our Randburg facility. You will analyse current operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement robust solutions to improve productivity, quality and cost efficiency.

The role requires hands-on collaboration with production, quality and maintenance teams, a strong engineering background, and experience with data analysis and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer or similar manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, process control, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with data analysis tools and SPC.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new processes or modify existing ones to enhance productivity and quality.
• Develop and execute process validation protocols and documentation.
• Monitor process performance, collect data, and generate reports on KPIs.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and optimize performance.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and technicians on new or revised processes.
