Job summary

The role emphasises developing the roadmap, leading 1:1s, objective setting, budget management, and driving continuous improvement across production/test environments with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams with coaching and development discussions.
• Balanced delivery of hands-on engineering work with people leadership and accountability.
• Strong manufacturing or production environment background with process ownership.
• Experience resolving production, build and test issues and coordinating cross-functional work.
• Familiarity with CAD, Python and ERP/MRP systems and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities within the Process Engineering team and provide front-line engineering support to Operations.
• Plan, track, prioritise and assign team work with stakeholders and tracking systems.
• Define and coordinate resources for projects and improvement activities.
• Lead or coach 1:1s, team meetings, objectives and development discussions.
• Lead investigations and resolve production, build and test issues.
• Maintain the Process Engineering roadmap and report project status, priorities, risks and actions.
• Support management of the Process Engineering budget.
• Develop and improve test equipment capability, capacity, efficiency and reliability.
• Own yield analysis and resolution of build and test failures.
• Manage Turnbacks and supplier quality issues investigations.
• Maintain work instructions, Bills of Materials and component drawings.
• Plan and deliver preventative maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
• Manage changes into Production and support regional operations with equipment needs.
• Support new product introduction, process readiness, tooling, testing and training.
• Define monthly Process Engineering metrics and escalations.
