Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Production Engineer to join a technology-focused team in the UK. You will take advanced products from prototype builds through to production, interfacing across manufacturing, assembly, testing and continuous improvement.

In this hands-on role you will build, test and integrate complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and help create SOPs and production docs while driving process improvements and working with suppliers and contract manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
• Experience assembling, integrating and testing complex hardware.
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical or optical systems.
• Practical, proactive and detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble and test mechanical, electrical and optical systems.
• Support transitioning products from prototype into production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing/assembly issues.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions and production documentation.
• Drive improvements across manufacturing processes, efficiency and quality.
• Support 3D printing, parts management and inventory.
• Collaborate with suppliers and outsourced partners.
