Job summary

Brandon James Limited is seeking a Lead Principal Designer to head up its CDM and Building Regulations Principal Designer offering in Liverpool. You will lead CDM/BRPD work, drive compliance, and act as technical lead while growing the service across the North West.

The role suits an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist stepping into Principal Designer duties. The successful candidate will possess ARB/RIBA/MCIAT membership and demonstrate strong client leadership, with

Qualifications

Significant experience as Architect or Architectural Technologist moving into Principal Designer.
Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and Building Regulations.
Proven ability to lead design teams and manage clients.
ARB, RIBA or MCIAT membership.
Experience with HRBs and Gateway applications advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead duties under CDM 2015 and Building Regulations, collaborating with clients, architects, consultants and contractors.
Chair design risk and compliance meetings; review design information against Regulations.
Manage CDM responsibilities and provide strategic advice to clients.
Act as technical lead for Principal Designer services; develop internal processes and support colleagues.
Grow the Principal Designer service across the North West and support progression to Director level.
