Axcis Education is working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bournemouth to recruit a dedicated Primary SEND Teacher to lead a small specialist classroom provision from January 2027. The role is full-time, delivering lessons to approximately 12 pupils with support from five Teaching Assistants.

• Must hold QTS and have experience in primary education.
• Experience in SEND settings or mainstream with SEND responsibilities.
• Ability to differentiate the curriculum for diverse learners.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for a small SEND class.
• Lead a team of five Teaching Assistants and support staff.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt curriculum to support additional learning needs.
• Promote behaviour, emotional regulation, communication and independence.
• Monitor pupil progress and adjust teaching approaches accordingly.
• Collaborate with school staff, SENDCO and parents.
• Ensure personalised support helps pupils reach their potential.
