Premier Education Ltd is recruiting for a SEND Primary Teacher to work in a specialist school in Bolton. You will teach a KS1/KS2 class of fewer than 10 pupils aged 6–9, with 1:1 support from a teaching assistant, in a sensory-rich, pre-formal learning environment.

The role requires QTS and a warm, patient approach, with a focus on supporting pupils with ASC and complex needs. The position offers a daily rate of £140-£200 and ongoing consultant support from Premier Education.

About the Class

You will be teaching a small class of less than10 pupils aged between 6 and 9, all of whom receive 1:1 support from a TA.

The pupils have a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), learning disabilities and PICA. Many communicate non-verbally using PECS, signs and gestures, and some have additional medical or behavioural support needs.

Learning is delivered through a sensory-rich and pre-formal curriculum, making this a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who loves thinking outside the box!
