Job summary

MK Consult is seeking a commercially minded Pre-Construction Manager to lead the bid and pre-construction process for social housing projects in Bolton and across the UK. This pivotal leadership role requires a proven track record in social housing, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to unite multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will coordinate with operations, commercial and bid teams, manage client relationships, and ensure costed, viable solutions

Qualifications

Proven experience in the social housing sector.
Strong understanding of planned maintenance, retrofit and decarbonisation.
Commercially focused with excellent financial awareness.
Able to engage confidently with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
Natural leader capable of bringing teams together to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead the bid and pre-construction process from enquiry to contract award.
Collaborate with operational, commercial and bid teams to develop winning solutions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the customer journey.
Ensure opportunities are commercially viable and accurately costed.
Support delivery of planned maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit and decarbonisation programmes.
Drive continuous improvement across pre-construction activities.
