Job summary

Melksham Oak Community School, part of The White Horse Federation, is seeking an ambitious Lead Practitioner Raising Standards in English, Mathematics or Science. You will work with SLT and Curriculum Leader to secure excellent curriculum delivery, accurate assessment and targeted catch‑up and keep‑up provision.

You will use data to identify pupils at risk, lead evidence‑informed strategies, and personally deliver high-impact intervention including small-group tuition and before-/after-school

Responsibilities

• Lead evidence-informed strategies to raise standards in English, Mathematics or Science.
• Deliver high-impact intervention including small-group support, one-to-one tuition and before- or after-school provision.
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Curriculum Leader to secure excellent curriculum implementation and assessment practice.
• Use data to identify pupils at risk of underachievement and drive targeted catch-up and keep-up provision.
• Model strong classroom practice and support colleagues through collaboration and professional learning.
