Melksham Oak Community School, part of The White Horse Federation, invites applications for a Lead Practitioner Raising Standards in English, Mathematics or Science. You will secure high-quality curriculum delivery, effective assessment, and targeted catch-up provision.

Working with SLT and Curriculum Leader, you will deliver high-impact interventions, analyse data, and model excellent classroom practice while supporting colleagues toward sustained attainment improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading or improving curriculum delivery and assessment practices.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
• Ability to plan and monitor improvement through data and outcomes.
• Strong collaboration with colleagues and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-quality teaching across English, Maths or Science.
• Develop and implement evidence-informed strategies to raise standards.
• Lead targeted catch-up and keep-up provision and small-group interventions.
• Analyse pupil data to identify at-risk learners and plan interventions.
• Model best practice and support professional learning among staff.
• Collaborate with SLT and Curriculum Leader to drive sustained attainment.
