Job summary

Suffolk GP Federation CIC is excited to invite applications for a Lead Practice Nurse to join our four-site Unity Practice team (Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford). This full-time role (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri) involves delivering high-quality patient care while supporting and leading the primary care nursing team, with travel between sites.

The successful candidate will have a relevant nursing degree, current NMC PIN, and proven experience in primary care with team management.

• A relevant nursing degree.
• Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
• Experience in primary care.
• Experience in managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and deliver a range of practice nursing services and be accountable for the nursing team on a day-to-day basis.
• Foster a learning environment, supporting the training and development of the nursing team.
• Lead on ensuring the nursing services are compliant with CQC and other regulatory authoritys requirements.
• Champion and lead quality improvement initiatives within the nursing service.
