Job summary

The Unity Practice, operated by Suffolk GP Federation CIC, is seeking a Lead Practice Nurse to oversee the nursing team across multiple sites. You will deliver a range of practice nursing services and ensure high standards of patient care across our four sites, with travel between Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford.

You will lead on training, governance, and regulatory compliance, champion quality improvement initiatives, and ensure the nursing service remains aligned with CQC

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with valid NMC registration and up‑to‑date practice.
• Experience working in primary care.
• Experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and deliver a range of practice nursing services and be accountable for the nursing team day to day.
• Foster a learning environment and support training and development of the nursing team.
• Ensure nursing services comply with CQC and regulatory requirements.

What’s the role?

• You will lead, manage and deliver a range of practice nursing services and be accountable for the nursing team on a day-to‑day basis

• You’ll lead on ensuring the nursing services are compliant with CQC and other regulatory authority’s requirements
• You’ll champion and lead quality improvement initiatives within the nursing service

The Unity Practice is run by Suffolk GP Federation CIC, a not‑for‑profit community interest company.

Contract

This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday based across the Unity sites: Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford. Travel between sites will be necessary.
