Job summary

AtkinsRéalis' Power Energy Systems Practice is seeking a Senior Power System Studies Engineer with extensive offshore wind and renewables experience to lead grid compliance, dynamic simulations and power system studies across UK projects. The role blends technical leadership with client engagement and mentoring.

You will work on offshore wind, solar and HVDC projects, utilizing PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSSE, MATLAB/Simulink and Python.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree is desirable.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress toward chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead grid compliance studies and dynamic simulations for renewables projects.
• Perform offshore wind grid studies and interconnection analysis.
• Mentor and develop engineers within the practice.
• Provide technical input to bids and client engagements.
