Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group (TWFCG) seeks an experienced Plumbing & Gas leader to lead and develop our apprenticeship provision within the Apprenticeships Department. Based at Slough & Langley College, this full-time role reports to the Head of Apprenticeships and drives high standards of delivery and learner achievement.

You will manage a team, plan curricula, standardise delivery, and oversee QA across the department, including IQA/EQA processes and liaison with awarding bodies.

Qualifications

• Must hold vocational plumbing/gas qualification or degree.
• Recognised assessor qualification (A1/TAQA/CAVA).
• Proven team leadership or coaching experience.
• Experience with apprenticeship quality assurance.
• Level 5 Teaching Qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Plumbing & Gas apprenticeship provision.
• Oversee curriculum planning and standardisation.
• Quality assurance oversight including IQA and EQA.
• Liaise with awarding bodies and conduct reviews.
• Coach and assess apprentices and monitor progress.
• Build relationships with local and national employers.
