Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group invites applications for an experienced Plumbing & Gas leader to head the apprenticeship provision. Based at Slough & Langley College, you will drive high standards of delivery, learner achievement and quality across the department.

You will oversee curriculum planning, QA, EQA visits and employer engagement to ensure industry relevance. The role requires proven leadership in apprenticeships, a suitable Plumbing & Gas qualification and an assessor credential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership or coaching experience in apprenticeship delivery.
• Vocational Plumbing/ Domestic Heating & Gas qualification and an Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA).
• Level 5 Teaching Qualification desirable or working towards one.
• Experience using digital platforms for teaching, assessment and learner progress tracking.
• Ability to liaise with awarding bodies and contribute to QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Plumbing & Gas apprenticeship provision within the Apprenticeships Department.
• Oversee team management, curriculum planning and standardisation.
• Monitor learner progress to drive retention and achievement; drive end-point success.
