Job summary

National Highways is strengthening its Digital Services function by recruiting a Physical and People Security Lead. This role drives security controls, policies and incident response, providing expert advisory support to the business and leading risk assessments and investigations.

You will work in a hybrid role with two days in the office and occasional travel, supporting transformation across the organisation and coordinating with national authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional security certifications or equivalent experience.
• Strong track record in senior security management within a large organisation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• In-depth knowledge of physical and personnel security controls and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Physical and People Security delivery for Hd SO&I and NH.
• Direct adoption of physical and people security controls, policies and standards.
• Plan and direct security risk assessments and investigations, implementing lessons learned.
• Develop NH-wide incident response policies, plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with national authorities and chair security forums and working groups.
