Job summary

MARCH is seeking an experienced Lead OT Network Engineer in Reading to design, implement and commission industrial network solutions across multiple sectors. You will deliver Layer 2/3 designs, lead cybersecurity configurations, and mentor project teams.

You will work closely with OT cybersecurity and automation colleagues, producing architecture diagrams, documentation and technical deliverables while supporting bid teams with scope and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, testing, and commissioning OT network solutions.
• Strong OSI/TCP-IP knowledge and Layer 2/3 networking expertise.
• Experience delivering projects from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT network design, testing and commissioning across industrial sectors.
• Provide governance, standards, templates and best practices.
• Lead cybersecurity configuration of network devices (switches, firewalls).
• Develop network architecture diagrams and deliverables.
• Mentor project teams and support automation (PLC, HMI, SCADA).
• Collaborate with OT cybersecurity on IT/OT boundary architectures.
• Attend customer sites and MARCH offices as required.
