Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Senior Theatre Practitioner at Goring Hall Hospital in West Sussex. This full-time role (37.5 hours) offers a flexible shift pattern and a salary up to £44,372.66 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will lead the theatre team, scrub for a range of orthopaedic procedures, manage instruments and implants, and coordinate surgical lists to ensure safe patient flow across the theatre suite.

Qualifications

• Registered professional in perioperative care with orthopaedic experience.
• Experience scrubbing for diverse orthopaedic procedures.
• Experience leading theatre teams and coordinating lists.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior scrub for orthopaedic procedures including joints and spine.
• Prepare instrumentation and implants per protocols.
• Assist surgeons and anaesthetists, anticipate needs.
• Lead theatre readiness, lists coordination, and resource checks.
• Support Theatre Manager with briefs, scheduling and stock control.
• Supervise junior staff and provide clinical guidance.
