Job summary
BSR Connect in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Onshore Wind Development to lead the development and delivery of large-scale wind and renewable energy projects. You will drive projects from inception through planning consent, discharge of conditions and securing all necessary permits.
This hybrid role can be based in Somerset or London, requiring coordination of multidisciplinary teams, effective stakeholder engagement, and delivering shovel-ready status ahead of
Qualifications
- Experience leading onshore wind projects through development and planning.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and external consultants.
- Strong programme and budget management skills.
- Commercial awareness to identify risks and opportunities.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Lead onshore wind projects from feasibility to consent and construction readiness.
- Ensure health and safety at the forefront of decisions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and external consultants.
- Manage planning applications, environmental assessments and consent documents.
- Build relationships with landowners, authorities and stakeholders.
- Support land rights and agreements for delivery.
- Maintain project programmes, risk registers and governance reporting.
