Job summary

British Solar Renewables is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Onshore Wind Development to lead the development and delivery of large-scale onshore wind and renewable energy projects in the UK. You will drive projects from inception through planning consent, discharge of conditions, and securing permits to achieve shovel-ready status ahead of construction.

This hybrid role can be based in Somerset or London, reporting to the Head of Project Development, and requires coordinating

Qualifications

Proven experience leading onshore wind development through planning and consent.
Experience managing multiple complex workstreams.
Strong programme, budget and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial awareness with ability to deliver shovel-ready status.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead onshore wind development projects from site identification through consent and construction readiness.
Coordinate planning, environmental, land, legal, grid and stakeholder activities.
Manage planning applications, environmental assessments, and permit documentation.
Maintain project programmes, risk registers and governance reporting.
Provide line management and support to Project Managers.
Ensure health and safety compliance across project delivery.
