Job summary

British Solar Renewables is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Onshore Wind Development to lead the development and delivery of large-scale onshore wind and renewable energy projects. You will drive projects from inception through to planning consent, discharge of conditions and shovel-ready status ahead of construction.

This role can be based in Somerset or London on a hybrid basis, reporting to the Head of Project Development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading onshore wind development projects.
• Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle from feasibility to consent.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore wind development projects from site identification through to consent and construction readiness.
• Coordinate planning applications, environmental assessments and permit documentation.
• Manage project budgets, risks and governance reporting to ensure milestones are met.
• Build relationships with landowners, authorities and key stakeholders to secure approvals.
