Job summary
Gattaca is seeking an experienced Transport & Installation (T&I) Lead to support major offshore wind developments. You will own T&I activities across the full project lifecycle, from planning to offshore execution, delivering safe, efficient installations while aligning with technical, commercial, and operational aims.
You will lead transport strategies, installation methodologies, and campaigns, coordinating vessel selection, port operations, and interfaces with contractors and certification
Qualifications
- Significant experience in offshore wind transport and installation activities.
- Strong understanding of foundation, substation, and subsea cable installation methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage contractors and complex stakeholder interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing transport and installation strategies for offshore wind projects.
- Defining installation methodologies for foundations, offshore substations, and subsea cable systems.
- Managing marine logistics, installation sequencing, and campaign planning.
- Overseeing lift studies, heavy lift methodologies, sea fastening, cable installation engineering, and constructability reviews.
- Supporting vessel selection, port operations, load-out activities, and offshore campaign execution.
- Acting as the key interface with contractors, marine warranty surveyors, certification bodies, and installation partners.
- Leading technical evaluations during procurement and contract award processes.
- Driving a strong HSE culture through risk management, constructability assessments, and industry best practice.
