Job summary

Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm in Montrose is seeking a Foundation Engineer to oversee the structural integrity and lifecycle of offshore wind turbine foundations and substructures during operation. You will ensure safety, compliance and ALARP risk management to maximise turbine availability and revenue.

Role covers asset integrity, technical governance, and collaboration with O&M teams for real-time support and continuity of operations. Hybrid work pattern in Scotland is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Structural / Offshore / Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in offshore wind foundations or offshore structures.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, fatigue, and marine environments.
• Experience in asset integrity or O&M engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrity management of offshore foundations (monopiles & Jackets).
• Develop and implement risk-based inspection strategies.
• Analyse structural performance considering fatigue, corrosion, scour, and environmental loading.
• Support remaining life assessments and life extension strategies.
• Review inspection data (ROV, seabed surveys, NDT) and define remedial actions.
• Lead or support root cause investigations for structural anomalies or failures.
