Formación

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Excellent understanding of English, spoken and written.
• Cleared DBS check.
• Previous experience in an early years setting.

Responsabilidades

• To lead a team and act as key worker for a group of children; observe, record and assess progress and development with observations and photos.
• Develop high quality interactions with children to extend thinking and learning.
• Plan, prepare and deliver a wide range of play experiences promoting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
• Ensure activities are drawn from children’s next steps, observations and interests within the EYFS framework.
• Support each child in developing self-esteem, confidence and feelings of competence.
• Provide a positive model of behaviour with children and families with friendliness and courtesy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of issues, legislation and practices through regular training.
• Be aware of hygiene standards and follow Caring Kindergartens policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive nursery team.
