Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a warm UK nursery setting. You will deliver age-appropriate EYFS activities, support learning and wellbeing, and act as a key person for children and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 Childcare Qualification, Paediatric First Aid, nursery experience, and a solid EYFS understanding, with strong communication and DBS clearance. Training and career progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Holds a full Level 3 Childcare Qualification.
• Holds a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Experience in nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Caring, enthusiastic and reliable, with good communication.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
• Support children’s learning, development and emotional wellbeing.
• Act as a key person and build relationships with children and parents.
• Observe, assess and track children’s progress.
• Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies.
