Job summary

Storal Meir Park Nursery in Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a Nursery Manager for full-time, 40 hours per week. Lead a supportive team to deliver the highest childcare and early years education standards, ensuring strong team culture, policies, and resources.

You will drive learning quality, implement EYFS framework, and foster inclusivity while coaching staff and maintaining excellent communication with children and families.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant EY qualification Level 3 or above or equivalent.
• GCSE maths or equivalent.
• Experience in a managerial role including nursery administration or similar.
• Strong knowledge and understanding EYFS framework.
• Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together and experienced in providing staff training and support.
• Demonstrable leadership qualities (ideally within Early Years).
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursery success by ensuring the setting has the right team, culture, policies and resources to deliver high standards of childcare and early years education.
• Identify areas for improvement in learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating environments for children and educators.
• Embrace inclusivity to meet the individual needs of all children and staff under your care.
