Job summary

Storal in the Long Eaton area invites applications for a Nursery Manager role overseeing children's learning and care, ensuring safe, welcoming settings and effective team leadership.

You will lead a team including an Operations Manager, Deputy Manager, Office Manager, Early Years Educators, and education coach to deliver the Storal curriculum.

Salary £17 per hour for 40 hours per week with a £1,000 welcome bonus; benefits include enhanced holidays and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Early Years Education qualification Level 3 or above or equivalent.
• GCSE maths or equivalent.
• Experience in a managerial role including nursery administration or similar.
• A strong knowledge and understanding EYFS framework.
• Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together and experienced in providing staff training and support.
• Demonstrable leadership qualities (ideally within Early Years).
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Nursery's daily operations to ensure the highest standards of childcare and education.
• Build the right team, culture, policies and resources for success.
• Identify areas for improvement in learning, teaching and the environment.
• Ensure inclusive practice to meet all children's needs.
