Job summary

Operose Health in the UK seeks a Lead Nurse to join St Ann's Road Surgery on 37.5 hours per week. Applicants must be a First Level UK registered nurse or AHCP with at least 2 years post-qualification experience and non-medical prescriber status.

You will lead nursing teams, work with GP and regional colleagues to meet guidelines, and provide clinical assessment and care with strong decision‑making. Salary up to £48,000 depending on experience, with 27 days leave, CPD support, and wellbeing

Are you looking a Practice Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are looking for an Lead Nurse for 37.50 hours per week.

Main Responsibilities

• Key duties will include:
• To work closely with the regional nursing, operational and GP team members to ensure all targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards within national service frameworks.
• You will be acting within your professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.
• Youwill demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
• In order to work at this level NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met.
• In addition to the responsibilities above the post holder will support the Regional Lead Nurse and act as a deputy as required to ensure a high level of quality and standards at all times.
• Will be involved with the implementation and monitoring of all clinical aspects by demonstrating clinical excellence in conjunction with the site clinical lead and assist with the implementation of any nursing / ACHP redesign and quality strategies to ensure a high quality nursing / AHCP team.
