Job summary

Operose Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our primary care team at The Practice Northumberland Avenue. The role offers a salary up to £60,000 depending on experience and a 37.5 hour week.

You will provide care from initial history taking through clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment, and you will work with the general practice team to meet patient needs, uphold procedures, and provide nurse leadership as required.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice toward non-medical prescribing.
• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Level 7 MSc Practitioner or ACP status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patients from initial history taking to clinical assessment and treatment.
• Make safe clinical decisions and evaluate care.
• Work with the general practice team to meet patient needs and support policy delivery.

Main Responsibilities

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include: Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues: Experience in a Primary Care setting. NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber. Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
