BT Group in Manchester/Sheffield is seeking a Cyber Security specialist to provide expert 3rd-line support for complex network and cyber security deployments across UK contracts. You will lead in Agile/ITIL practices, mentor peers, and drive secure design, testing, and documentation.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with Product and Engineering, and delivering secure solutions across diverse environments within BT’s transformation to AI-first, hybrid working models.

Qualifications

• External professional security certifications (Fortinet NSE 7, Cisco CCNP, Checkpoint CCSE, Palo Alto PCNSE).
• Hands-on with Fortinet, Cisco ASA/FirePower, ISE, F5, Palo Alto, Zscaler, CheckPoint, NetScaler.
• Scripting: Python, Go, Bash; Linux/Unix and Windows OS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical support on complex network and cyber security deployments for UK contracts.
• Lead on Agile/ITIL processes within the security team and mentor colleagues.
• Develop policies, configurations, and integrations; own testing and documentation for new products/services.
