Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for two Associate Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children (Band 7) across the trust. The role involves providing expert safeguarding advice, multi-agency liaison, training delivery and supervision across hospital sites.

You will work within the Safeguarding Children team, deputise for the Named Nurse when needed, and contribute to policy development and annual reporting. A substantial NHS benefits package accompanies the post.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration.
• UK recognised degree in a healthcare profession.
• Ongoing professional development and revalidation.
• Experience working in safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based safeguarding advice and consultation to Trust staff.
• Attend strategy meetings and coordinate multi-agency safeguarding discussions.
• Develop and deliver safeguarding teaching packages and offer supervision.
• Lead on trauma-informed safeguarding strategies and policy updates.
