Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children to lead safeguarding across the cross-site organisation. You will provide expert advice, drive education and supervision, and work with multi‑agency partners to embed child-centered safeguarding practice.

Qualifications

• Be registered on Part 1 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council
• Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
• Have completed safeguarding supervision / training
• Have a teaching qualification
• Be able to demonstrate audit and report writing knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide robust, expert safeguarding advice across the trust in line with legislation and best practice.
• Receive, interpret and convey highly complex information to a wide range of professionals locally and regionally.
• Contribute to Section 11 audits to ensure governance alignment.
