Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences in Cambridge seeks a highly skilled MS Method Development Lead to drive the development and validation of LCMSMS bioanalytical methods under GxP standards. You will combine technical expertise with team leadership to deliver robust, compliant methods.

The role involves guiding method development, optimization of extraction and chromatography, mentoring the team, and supporting regulatory submissions in a cutting-edge lab environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in biochemistry or life sciences required.
• Experience in a GxP laboratory with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of HPLC/UPLC/LCMSMS and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead method development and validation as a SME.
• Optimize extraction techniques and chromatography.
• Manage and mentor the Method Development & Validation team.
• Ensure GLP, SOPs, and international guidelines compliance.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and implement improvements.
• Oversee cost-effective lab operations and consumables spend.
• Write and approve Methods of Analysis and transfer methods.
• Support regulatory submissions and address regulatory queries.
• Conduct investigations, CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead team meetings and staff development sessions.
