Sainsbury's Group is seeking a Lead Metadata Analyst to drive metadata governance and improve data discoverability across the organisation. You will lead the Group Data Catalogue initiatives, onboard data sources, manage glossaries, lineage, stewardship and standards, while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.

You will apply advanced SQL and metadata technologies to enhance governance, champion best practices, and foster a culture of trusted data.

Qualifications

• Experienced data management professional with strong expertise in metadata management and governance.
• Knowledge of business glossaries, data lineage, stewardship, ownership and metadata standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead activities across the Group Data Catalogue including onboarding, glossary management, lineage, stewardship and standards.
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of metadata management capabilities and governance outcomes.
• Provide technical expertise in SQL and metadata technologies and promote best practices across the organisation.
