Job summary

• Experience coordinating data governance across multiple datasets or products.
• Understanding of data ownership, stewardship, metadata management, and data catalog practices.
• Knowledge of data quality principles and monitoring approaches.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a defined set of datasets and data products across the Lakehouse and wider data estate.
• Ensure data products have clear ownership through assigned Data Stewards.
• Track the completeness, maturity, and usability of data products.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance standards and elevate where standards are not met.
• Embed governance requirements into delivery and change processes; drive metadata completeness and catalog information.
• Monitor data quality outcomes, identify gaps, and support prioritisation of issues.
• Promote transparency through data lineage capture and coordination across teams.
