Job summary

Bulb Interiors is seeking an experienced MEP Site Manager to lead the installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, PH and BMS systems on a Cambridge project. You will coordinate on-site subcontractors, verify drawings, and ensure high-quality, safe delivery from installation through to handover.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent collaboration with design teams, and the ability to manage complex commissioning sequences on live sites.

Qualifications

• Proven MEP site management experience on CAT A/CAT B commercial fit-outs.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, PH and BMS systems.
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold) and First Aid qualifications preferred.
• Experience delivering laboratories or life sciences environments is desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Trade Coordination: manage on-site MEP subcontractors and resolve clashes.
• Drawing Verification: interrogate layouts to match site conditions.
• Quality Assurance: conduct site inspections to meet QA/QC standards.
• Commissioning & Handover: oversee testing and commissioning of MEP and BMS.
• Health & Safety: enforce CDM and RAMS compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: coordinate certifications and O&M close-out documents.
