Arcadis is seeking an Associate Technical Director to join our Water & Utilities MEICA team in the UK. You will drive technical delivery and design outputs for complex water projects, establishing relationships with clients and leading multi-disciplinary teams using advanced digital design techniques.

The role sits in our Resilience Global Business Area, focusing on protecting water resources and infrastructure while delivering sustainable outcomes for future generations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with a professional institution such as IMechE, IET, or CIWEM.
• Significant experience delivering process plant systems in water industry projects.
• Experience with design and construct using digital design techniques.
• Capable team leader with collaborative behaviours.

Responsabilités

• Produce and check complex mechanical designs, calculations, reports and drawings.
• Lead design and advisory services for water and wastewater plants and pumping stations.
• Deliver multi-disciplinary projects in design or technical lead roles using digital design.
• Identify innovative technical solutions aligned with client objectives.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relationships on technical and commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with technical, legislative, quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Line management and performance development for assigned staff.
