Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced, mechanically biased Site Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical works on a MoJ project. You will manage the mechanical supply chain, coordinate subcontractors and drive progress against the programme.

The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical installation, RAMS, QA and Health & Safety, plus proactive site leadership and clear communication to resolve issues before they impact schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in Site Management with mechanical building services and construction.
• Experience managing mechanical subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
• Coordinate works on live construction projects and drive delivery against programme.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, construction sequencing, RAMS, quality control and Health & Safety.
• Proactive and organised site-based manager with strong communication skills.
• Desirable: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid. Experience in secure/government environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day mechanical activities on site.
• Manage mechanical subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
• Ensure installations meet drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• Monitor programme progress and coordinate trades.
• Manage resources and materials; resolve site issues.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
