Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager for a major London project. You will take ownership of the mechanical works on site, coordinating subcontractors and site teams to deliver safely and to programme.

You will monitor progress, liaise with the client and wider project team, review drawings, resolve technical queries and maintain documentation to support successful handover.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience in a mechanical subcontractor environment.
• Proven experience managing mechanical installation works on site.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pipework and plant installation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and keep works on programme.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• SMSTS qualification.

Mechanical Site Manager

London £60,000 – £70,000

We’re looking for 2 experienced Mechanical Site Managers to join a major £10M mechanical project in London.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager who has built their career within a mechanical environment and is comfortable taking ownership of site delivery, coordinating teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

As Mechanical Site Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the mechanical works on site.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors and labour, monitoring progress and working closely with the wider project team to keep everything moving to programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day mechanical installation activities on site
• Coordinating subcontractors, labour and site teams
• Working closely with the wider project team, including the client and other trades

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• The ability to coordinate multiple activities and keep works on programme
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Relevant site management qualifications, such as SMSTS
