Job summary

Catch 22 Recruitment is assisting a large healthcare organisation in recruiting an Estates Compliance Engineer with a Mechanical background. The role focuses on supervising building operations and maintaining mechanical systems across a large healthcare site in the Bradford/Keighley region.

The ideal candidate will have strong facilities management experience, knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, and familiarity with BMS systems.

Qualifications

• Hold relevant technical qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or Building services.
• Strong engineering background within a facilities management environment (Essential).
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, IOSH/NEBOSH preferred.
• Experience in large commercial buildings, healthcare environment, knowledge of BMS systems preferred.
• Excellent people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation of complex Healthcare Mechanical systems (AHU, water systems, Medical Gas, Legionella checks, pumping, boiler, refrigeration).
• Handle risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are complied with.
• Collaborate with Senior Operations Engineer on projects, supervision and building operations management.
