Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is assisting a major UK facilities management contractor to recruit a Senior Engineering Manager – Mechanical for a complex healthcare environment. You will lead engineering services, ensuring safe, compliant estates delivery and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across planned and reactive maintenance.

The role requires significant leadership experience within FM or healthcare, strong knowledge of statutory requirements and safe systems of work, plus ability to drive

Qualifications

Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong knowledge of healthcare estates and statutory compliance.
Experience in risk management and strategic maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering maintenance and estates services across a complex healthcare environment.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and HTMs/HBNs.
Oversee PPM, lifecycle planning and risk management to minimise disruption to clinical operations.
Act as Authorised Person / Lead Authorised Person and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
Build relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and external partners.
Drive performance, continuous improvement and value for money across engineering services.
