IC Resources is partnering with a technology company that develops ruggedised hardware for demanding real-world environments. You will take technical ownership of complex mechanical products from early-stage concept through to manufacture and validation.

The role focuses on leading mechanical design, prototyping, testing and validation, with hands-on leadership across multidisciplinary teams and a strong emphasis on reliability and manufacturability.

Aufgaben

• Lead mechanical design from concept through to manufacture.
• Take technical ownership of complex hardware programmes.
• Design robust products for challenging environments.
• Drive improvements in reliability, performance and manufacturability.
• Work across materials, thermal management, structural design and sealing.
• Lead prototyping, testing and product validation.
• Champion DfM / DfA throughout the design process.
• Provide technical leadership across engineering teams.
• Mentor and support engineers while remaining hands-on.
