Job summary

Rivencore Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Poole to join a team designing ruggedised defence equipment. You’ll work across the full product development lifecycle from concept to manufacture, solving real engineering challenges and guiding others as you grow.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical Engineering degree (Level 6) or equivalent, 3–5 years’ experience, and hands-on CAD with CREO and Windchill PLM.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Experience using 3D CAD; CREO and Windchill PLM preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLM/MRP systems and MS Office.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Experience designing ruggedised equipment and applying defence standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs from concept through to detailed design and manufacture.
• Turn concepts into robust, cost-effective solutions.
• Support product and project work to meet mechanical design goals.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and team members.
• Prepare cost estimates to support pricing and quotations.
• Support design verification and ensure compliance with standards.
