Job summary

Verso Recruitment Group has a demanding engineering role for an electronics design authority responsible for high-reliability products from concept to production.

You will own mixed-signal designs, capture schematics, drive board layout, and lead qualification and testing across regulated markets, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and engage with customers and suppliers. Based in the UK, the role emphasizes hands-on engineering culture and full product lifecycle ownership.

Qualifications

• Electronics degree or equivalent industry knowledge.
• History of designing reliable electronic products.
• Experience across analogue, digital and power electronics; embedded work on MCUs or DSPs.
• Experience with formal qualification and certification processes.
• Commercial mindset with ability to interact with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prove mixed-signal designs spanning analogue, digital and power stages.
• Capture schematics, drive board layout, and document designs.
• Lead environmental and EMI testing for regulated markets.
• Drive cost-down and manufacturability, plan for build and supply.
• Mentor junior engineers and present as the technical voice to customers.
