Job summary

Pure Renewables is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for our renewable energy projects. You will create pipework layouts and GA drawings, and provide technical support to engineering and project teams.

You will lead the mechanical design across feasibility, installation, commissioning and maintenance, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance on large commercial energy projects.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience designing, managing, commissioning, and servicing renewable energy systems.
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and health and safety requirements for renewables.

Responsibilities

• Create efficient commercial energy designs for renewables projects.
• Conduct pre-installation surveys and heat loss calculations.
• Aid commissioning of installed systems and ensure performance.
• Lead mechanical design across lifecycle from feasibility to maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with standards and communicate with stakeholders.
• Stay informed on heat pump tech, electrical systems, and renewables.
