South East Water is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership for the MEICA team, overseeing design to commissioning on clean water infrastructure. You’ll coordinate with Process and Civil teams, manage resources, and resolve complex mechanical queries.

The role offers a stable, value-driven environment with meaningful projects; you’ll lead design reviews, ensure compliance with WIMES and CDM, travel to Snodland and sites across the supply area, and mentor junior

Formación

• Experience on clean water projects, including treatment plants and pumped systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pump selection and head loss calculations.
• Familiar with NEC3 Design & Construct or PSC contracts.
• Ability to manage workload and deliver to budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsabilidades

• Develop technical solutions coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Lead design reviews of complex mechanical designs and specs.
• Oversee project delivery from outline design to commissioning.
• Support the MEICA team with technical guidance.
• Ensure safety and compliance under CDM and participate in HAZOP/ALM studies.
• Engage stakeholders and represent South East Water externally.
